How to Contribute
VREF may accept funds in the form of online donations, checks, stocks, grants, agreements or gifts from such sources as:
- Federal (non-VA) agencies or private nonprofit agencies
- Commercial organizations involved in the development of new medical materials and devices or in support of medical research and/or education
- Personal contributions;
- Organizations or individuals to defray the costs of scientific meetings, teaching or other legitimate educational functions.
Funds donated in support of an educational activity may be expended only after the Education and Training Committee or its designated committee has approved the activity. VREF may support education for VA employees and VA patients or their families.
One goal of the Veterans Research and Education Foundation of St. Louis is to provide seed grants in the amount of $10,000 each to four new researchers whose studies focus on the Veteran population. In order to achieve our goals, your support is needed. Your donation will go directly toward realizing that objective.
