On April 28, 2023, we hosted our first post-COVID event: GLO Bingo. The event was a great success and we we’re able to raise $2,500 towards Veteran Centric research being conducted at the VA St. Louis Healthcare System!

Long COVID is serious health problem and can affect nearly every organ in the human body. It has been called America’s next big health crisis.
On June 23rd, 2021 VREF hosted our first webinar featuring speaker Dr. Ziyad Al-Aly as he spoke about his research findings on Long COVID and the implications it can have for both patients and health systems.
There was over 300 registrants and the webinar was a great success!
Trivia Night
Our First Annual Trivia Night took place on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Occasions Event Place.
The trivia night included many awesome raffle prizes that were donated to us from various companies and people locally. We had a great turn out and helped raise $2,000 that will go directly back into Veteran Research!! Thank you everyone who joined us and made our night a success!
Veteran Radio Network
The Veterans Radio Network is a Radio Program run By Veterans For Veterans. The purpose of the show is to provide information, educate, inform, and support Veterans.
The show is on every Sunday at 2 PM Central on KTRS AM 550 and features topics such as:
- Information on primary care, medical care, mental health services, and other health care benefits
- Tips of navigating the VA Health Care System
- VA news and events
- Weekly Whole Health Segment
Our staff was lucky enough to be featured on the show to talk about our cause and our different fundraising efforts!
