The Veterans Research and Education Foundation of St. Louis extends its commitment to service beyond research and education through our Annual Day of Service. This event unites our team and community partners to make a tangible impact on the St. Louis area, reflecting our deep-seated dedication to the well-being of veterans and their communities.
A Tradition of Community Engagement
Each year, our staff and Board of Directors volunteer their time to support other local nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. The Annual Day of Service is an opportunity for our organization to give back, strengthen community bonds, and support the broader ecosystem of care and service that our veterans rely on.

Day of Service 2024 – Dogs for Our Brave
VREF employees joined with other local Veteran Organization, Dogs for Our Brave, for a Day of Service. This involved volunteering at DFOB and assisting with various tasks for their organization. By participating in service projects, we can bridge divides, heal wounds, and create lasting change that will benefit our communities for years to come.
